I read a story outside my usual universe the other day, and it has stuck with me in the most devastating way. It's Snape/McGonagall, which though it makes sense to me has never seemed all that interesting.
I may seriously have to rethink this.
At the very least, I will have to keep track of this author, though unfortunately she doesn't seem to do Snarry. So I figure branching out will be good for me. Sometimes, I have to say, I feel like a real innocent in fandom--I'm sure many of you know all about this story and its author already, and it's just me who's missed the boat so far.
Anyway, the story is this: In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning by Delphi, and it has me scouring the internet for pictures of Dame Maggie Smith around age 40-50. That may tell you something.
